Project Context
As a UX/UI designer at Dawai, I was tasked with redesigning the company’s landing page. The previous design, while functional, did not align with Dawai’s vision or future goals. This project was my first major challenge, and it was a fantastic learning experience for me. The redesign aimed to better represent Dawai’s mission and provide a more engaging and interactive experience for users.
Project Outcome
The outcome of the Dawai landing page redesign was a modern, interactive, and user-friendly design that successfully aligned with Dawai’s mission. The new design significantly enhanced user engagement through improved navigation and a more streamlined content structure, ultimately reflecting Dawai’s evolving vision and improving the overall user experience.

Core Problem
The previous landing page needed a refreshed design that more effectively reflected Dawai’s mission and growth in the health-tech industry. While the old design was informative, it lacked a modern, interactive structure to engage visitors and clearly present the company's services and values. The challenge was to create a new layout that was both functional and aligned with the company's future direction while improving the user experience.
Research & Insights
To better understand how to approach the redesign, I utilized the Double Diamond design process, starting with the Discover phase. During this phase, I conducted a competitor analysis, exploring websites of companies within the health-tech industry. I gathered design inspiration and identified patterns that could be adapted to our context. Additionally, I collaborated with the Dawai team through daily meetings to align our understanding of the goals and gather insights on what the team envisioned for the landing page. This helped identify areas where the design could be more interactive and informative.
Defining the Solution
After the research phase, we moved to the Define phase, where we consolidated the insights gathered. The primary goals were defined as:
Enhancing user engagement through improved navigation.
Reflecting Dawai’s updated brand values and vision.
Dividing the page into clear, informative sections.
Introducing a modern design language while maintaining clarity.
Design Process
The design phase involved the development of multiple iterations following the Double Diamond model’s Develop phase. I created wireframes and low-fidelity prototypes in Figma, testing different concepts for key sections of the landing page. Each section, including the hero area, about section, services overview, and team profiles, was designed and reviewed individually with the team.
A significant design decision was shifting from a standard navigation bar to a more interactive sidebar for improved user interaction. Throughout the design iterations, the team’s feedback was incorporated, and refinements were made to ensure clarity and consistency across the landing page.
Testing & Feedback
Once the primary design was completed, we tested the landing page internally with the Dawai team. Feedback was collected throughout the design phase, but a final round of usability testing was conducted before the launch. The feedback highlighted areas for slight improvements in the visual hierarchy and some text adjustments, which were addressed before the final release.
Results & Impact
The redesigned landing page successfully launched and is now live at dawai.me. Key improvements included:
Enhanced Navigation: The interactive sidebar significantly improved the navigation experience, making it more intuitive.
Improved Flow: A clearer content structure helped guide users more effectively.
Positive Reception: The new design was well-received by both the team and users, aligning with the company’s vision.
Learnings & Next Steps
While the outcome met the objectives, I recognized opportunities for further refinement, such as improving color consistency and minor design details. This project taught me valuable lessons about collaborative design, balancing creativity with business goals, and the importance of iterative feedback. Beyond design, I also gained insights into front-end like HTML and CSS during the process. Also, other things like the sessions the team made like hosting databases and topics related to cyber security and so on. I'm grateful to the Dawai team for their mentorship and the opportunity to explore new challenges in UX/UI design. Always, Dawai to the moon!
